The School's Governing Body

The school has a Governing Body which acts as the ‘critical friend’. Its duties include monitoring and advising on the strategic direction of the school; setting and monitoring the budget; reviewing Polices and ensuring that the school complies with statutory guidance from the DfE & Ofsted. The Governing Body meets each term as a full Governing Body and in addition meets in 2 Committees – Curriculum and Resources (Personnel and Finance). The Governing Body includes a Local Authority member; a staff Governor; Associate members; parent Governors; co-opted Governors and the Executive Headteacher.
